Engineering For All
Our Engineering preview course is a condensed curriculum where students will learn the basics of engineering through the world of sports. Students will then learn about the Engineering Design Process which explains the steps of solving problems through innovation. Students are also introduced to entrepreneurship in this introduction course.
This course includes graded quizzes, video lesson guides, and interactive activities. It's designed with open-ended questions allowing for a broad age range, typically we see the best results with students aged 9-17, but have seen great results with students both younger and older.
OUR STORY
STEM Education Redefined
We started STEMLETICS in early 2016 as an in-person, after-school program in Flint, Michigan. Over the last 4 years, we’ve been working hard to refine our unique STEM-Sports curriculum to best engage the students we work with. Students who have participated in our program have shown great success and tremendous progress. We’ve used these years of experience to build out the most effective curriculum possible using sports as our vehicle to teach STEM concepts.
Because of the impact we were seeing while teaching in classrooms, we decided that STEMLETICS needed to be shared nationwide. So over the last couple of months, we have been working tirelessly to move our curriculum into an easy to follow online course. We hope your family enjoys what we do as much as the families we’ve helped in the past.
